California’s Lack of Common Sense…

We are living in a state of shambles in California. Out of control debt, an ineffective governor, an even less effective legislature, record high unemployment and much more man made disasters; and what does our State’s government body do…?  They ban Foie Gras from the dinner table. Yeah, man…!!  That’s our hard earned taxes at work.

Now for a reality check, fellow Calis…  Do we really need to be paying high salaries, plus perks for these bozos to be taking space in Sacramento to play silly games, or do we make them work for us in solving more pressing problems…?  After-all, who is suppose to work for who anyway…   Time for us citizens to get real and either make them work hard, or pack their stuff and leave town…

California, broke and broken…

Okay, no secret there, friends…!!!  California, the Golden State is a bit tarnished and run down, but it still the place we Cali’s call home and rather than spend time groaning and moaning about it, how about we all join in an start to make things better?

California has an assembly with 80 members, each with a salary of $95,291+ Per Diem of between $66 and $96 bucks. That’s a lot of money for not doing a whole lot to improve the state of the State. The majority of these seat warmers fix everything with one idea in common – Raise Taxes. Well, guess what, politicians- That mantra is has ran it’s course it is no longer a valid option that we, the former “sheep” will accept to follow. It is time we the citizens hold these assembly people and the governor accountable for doing their job properly and on time for our benefit; and the best way to do it is to force changes on how business will be done from now on. It will be a slow process at first, but as we become more vocal, the changes will start happening at a much rapid pace…  I suggest we blitz the corresponding State Senator and Assemby person with letters of complain about what we feel needs changing. The time is now to start making our voices count. Don’t sit back and let others make the moves… Get involved…
